He shared his office with a notary public who’d notarized documents for Friedmann. Copies of the documents were in the office. Robert Anderson, the lead detective on the case, got the copies, one of which was a letter that Friedmann had addressed to a relative of his by marriage, Greg Hall (no relation to the sheriff), a handyman who lived in a Nashville apartment complex where Friedmann had once resided.
